ACT!

Against Violence and Sexual Exploitation

THE PROJECT

Act! arises as a joint action among professionals organizations

working specifically in the field of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

We are a diverse network of associations, characterized by strong capacity of outreach,

carrying out activities related mainly to:

gender based violence

sexual exploitation and trafficking

victims identification and supports

According to the UNODC Global Trafficking in Persons Report (2018), the number of victims is increasing.

If we specifically refer to youth, there is limited research surrounding the sexual trafficking of women and girls facilitated by social media, however, evidence suggests that social media play a significant role.

To help you raise awareness about child sexual exploitation Act! consortium has compiled a range of free campaign materials that can be uses to educate, inform, raise awareness among young and vulnerable people.
